An Introduction: Part 3

The hardest situation to overcome is when people don’t agree or support something that you love to do. My family HATES that I lift. They want me to walk and do cardio and that’s it. What they don’t know is, that demotivates me to workout. I love lifting. I love it. I’m good at it too (as I mentioned yesterday, I got to the point before moving to Lawton where multiple people saw my results and…

An Introduction: Part 2

(If you missed Part 1, please look on my blog and read that one first!) I… Love excuses. I love them. They’re so easy to make. Don’t want to hang out with a friend? Make an excuse. Don’t want to show up to work today? We’ve all used the family emergency excuse. But when it comes to diet and exercise, I make every excuse in the book. “I earned this, I worked out hard today, I can eat two slices of…

An Introduction: Part 1

338.2 lbs. That’s what the scale said today when I woke up. The most I have ever weighed in my life. This is a tough number to look at. So, my kick ass boyfriend is starting a journey today, and I couldn’t be more proud of him.

Kevin has been heavy for some time and he has really struggled with losing weight and keeping it off. But ever since I met him, he hasn’t stopped wanting to be a better version of himself. I have looked up to this so much. He inspires me more than really anyone in my life.

Along with his journey of losing weight, he is writing a blog. The audience targets mainly people who are like him, people who are like me; the people who feel stuck. We want out. We want to reach our goals although they seem unreachable.

He’s only written Part 1 to his introduction, and it grabbed my attention immediately… And I hear most of what he said in his blog on the daily.

Kevin, I’m so proud of you. I can’t wait to read more, and hopefully I’ll eventually join in with you and work on myself as well. Then we’ll be the badass team we’ve always wanted to be.

You got this!
